About The Mayer Group

Joseph W. Alfred

Background

Mr. Alfred has extensive experience in the field of Immigration Law, from working within the USCIS to private law practice. He has worked in this field for most of his professional life, beginning as a paralegal at the law offices of Chin and Curtis. He also worked for immigration law firms in Boston; Washington, DC; Baltimore; New York; and Kansas.

Additionally, he worked as an Adjudications Officer for the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). At the USCIS training academy, then part of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, he graduated second overall in his class. This included recording a perfect score in the Nonimmigrants and Immigrants section of the curriculum and achieving the highest score in the Remoeability and Core Training section.

In short, he has dedicated his professional life to Immigration Law and matters before the USCIS and is a valued and important asset to The Mayer Legal Group. He manages all immigration and naturalization cases for our office.

Joseph operates an independent law practice from The Mayer Group, but is ready to help with any and all immigration law matters.
