Please Note: An individual becomes one of our clients through mutual, written agreement. Merely calling or writing us does not create an attorney-client relationship.

We enjoy talking to servicemembers and veterans about their cases. However, we ask that you please consider the following before contacting us.

  • Attorney/Client Relationship. Your call or email to us is confidential, but it does not automatically create an attorney/client relationship. An individual becomes one of our clients through mutual, written agreement. Merely calling or writing us does not create an attorney-client relationship.
  • Discharge Upgrade Cases: We focus a significant portion of our practice on discharge upgrade cases. If yours is a discharge upgrade case, please be prepared to provide the following: discharge date, type of discharge, branch of service, total length of service, and whether you attempted to upgrade your discharge previously.
  • Discharge Upgrade Cases that are more than 15 Years Old: We are not accepting discharge upgrade cases if the discharge is older than 15 years. The only exception is if the following conditions are met: 1. veteran was discharged with an Other Than Honorable characterization of service and 2. veteran has a written diagnosis for service-connected PTSD by at least one psychiatrist or psychologist.

Phone Conferences

Schedule a Phone Conference. Many individuals want to consult directly and meaningfully with Mr. Mayer about their case. These individuals value legal advice and counsel from an experienced military lawyer, and they want to speak at length with an expert about their case. We are proud to provide our potential clients with a means of accomplishing this via our online portal. You will not talk to a secretary, receptionist, or paralegal.
