Military on CBD

Posted August 22nd, 2019 in Military Discharge Upgrades

The Department of Defense has once again ramped up efforts to crack down on CBD products for members of the military.

“The warning, along with the policies issued recently by the Air Force, Coast Guard and Department of the Navy, comes as CBD is becoming increasingly ubiquitous across the country in many forms, from coffee additives and vaping liquids to tinctures, candies and other foods, carrying promises of health benefits ranging from pain and anxiety relief to sleeping aids and inflammation reduction,” Military.com reports.

A less than honorable discharge can affect members of the military for the duration of their lives.

People who get an Other-Than-Honorable discharge will lose out on important benefits.

Veterans whose DD214s list drug abuse or other drug-related incidences as a reason for discharge can face further stigma when it comes to finding work in civilian life.

Members of the military who test positive for THC or who are facing a potential discharge for using CBD products may want to contact a discharge upgrade lawyer.
