Guidance Service – This is great for people who have the motivation and ability to represent themselves, but want to enter the process in an intelligent and informed manner. Mr. Mayer will consult with you in order to understand the overall positives and negatives of your case. He then provides you with guidance on the process and how to proceed through self-representation. This way, you avoid the most common pitfalls of self-represented discharge upgrade cases.  This service generally lasts one hour.

Detailed Evaluation Service – Mr. Mayer will review all records related to your case and provide you with a detailed evaluation and plan. This is more in depth than the guidance service because it involves Mr. Mayer reading through your military records, which is a much more detailed process and can take several hours.

Detailed Review Service – This is for those individuals who prepared their own appeal but want an professional to review it. Similar to the Detailed Evaluation Plan, Mr. Mayer will review your appeal and supporting documentation, identify strengths and weaknesses, and make detailed recommendations in order to make your appeal stronger and more likely to succeed. It never hurts to have a second set of eyes review your work—especially when the reviewer is a lawyer experienced in discharge upgrades.

Full Representation at Record Review – Mr. Mayer writes a full appeal (which takes, on average, more than 12 hours) and fields all inquires from the board. This is the best package for those who want full, unabridged representation and a lawyer to take charge of the record review process.

Full Representation and Personal Appearance at the Board –  Mr. Mayer submits all paperwork and appears with you during a personal appearance at the board (usually in Washington, DC, but occasionally is held elsewhere). This is the best package for those who want full, unabridged representation at the board hearing.
