Good News – Army Discharge Upgrade
Last night was a good night. After a family event, I looked at my phone and saw that I missed a call from a client. In March, we presented his case to the Army Discharge Review Board and had not yet received results. For any discharge upgrade lawyer, this is an anxious period.
Calling him back, the news was outstanding–upgraded to honorable. He received the news in the mail earlier that day. I live for moments like that one.
I share this for two reasons.
First, his case was a difficult one, and we worked through several challenges. Some said that his case was impossible to win. At the end of the day, some cases fail, and others win. If you don’t try, you are guaranteed to be stuck with the same discharge for the rest of your life. My client understood this.
Second, he maintained a positive attitude and worked with the strategy I developed. Because of his attitude and cooperation, he maximized his chances of succeeding, and it paid off.
